Our growing circle of donors has helped strengthen our libraries. For those out of work, in areas of Pierce County that are hardest hit by the economic downturn, Librarians are helping people with limited computer knowledge to submit on-line applications - the only way some companies accept applications - and with job search resources and materials. Donations can help expand and enhance these services which are greatly needed.
Early Learning stations have been added and donations have helped to offset costs and allowed the Kids' Bookmobile to service unserved and under-served children in the county, Librarians can continue to visit seniors in adult care facilities, deliver books to childcare facilities and much, much more.
