Current Funding Priorities

 

Early Learning Program Through the Early Learning Program, staff deliver age-appropriate books to child-care centers and daycares, educate at-risk parents on reading to babies and offer certified training to child-care professionals. Book Discussions Kits These kits contain multiple copies of the same book which are specially chosen for adult and teen readers to encourage discussion and foster the joy of reading. Job+Business Center The Pierce County Library System Job+Business Centers provide access to resources, technology and knowledgeable assistance to individual job seekers, small business owners and entrepreneurs who are struggling to support themselves and their families. Summer Reading Program This summer more than 25,000 kids will once again discover the fun of reading when they participate in free Summer Reading at their Pierce County Library.
