Book Review: Death by Black HoleAuthors: Terry Bain
In a clear and highly readable collection of short articles that appeared in "Natural History" magazine over the last decade, high-profile astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, director of the Hayden Planetarium in New York, describes the observations and reasoning that tell astronomers about the universe and the strange objects it contains. The pieces which comprise the book are organized under whimsical banners such as “All the ways the cosmos wants to kill us,” and Tyson's style connects well with those who are interested in science, either casually or professionally.
