NoveList offers browsable lists such as notable books and award list books by genre, articles on popular writers and literary trends, other authors you might like, and expanded genre lists for various reading levels.
You can access data from NoveList directly from many fiction book records in the library catalog. Simply use the Full Display tab and look at the right-hand sidebar for the NoveList link.
Alternate access to the above Novelist resources is available via the library catalog: E-Sources by Subject under Books and Reading.
Other Internet book-related sites, including Publisher's Weekly website and What's Next? (series tool) are available via Books & Literature section of our Research Corner's Subject links.
Many local library branches have print resources on hand, to help you find good books, such as "Genreflecting," "Now Read This" or "What Do I Read Next" which suggest titles based on genre, story setting, character type and similar authors.
Next time you visit a library, ask your staff to introduce these treasures to you. Our staff is happy to discuss good books with you!
Happy reading!
