Teen Writing Contest

13th Annual Our Own Words Teen Poetry & Fiction Writing Contest

2009 AWARDS CEREMONY Wed., May 27, 7 p.m. Lagerquist Concert Hall in the Mary Baker Russell Music Center at Pacific Lutheran University 2009 Our Own Words winners! >> Celebrate with Our Own Words Teen Poetry & Fiction Writing Contest winners reading their own work at the award ceremony. Pierce County Library Foundation is awarding cash prizes for first, second and third place in three age groups:  7th and 8th grade, 9th and 10th grade and 11th and 12th grade; and in two categories: poetry and short story. Refreshments following.  Open to the public. For more information, call 253-536-6500, ext. 134.
