Renewing Items from Home

You may check the status of your account and renew certain items through a self-service, touch-tone phone system or access your account via the online catalog.

For assistance with any of these services, contact the computer help desk staff.

Renewal By Phone Telephone Line

If you have a 360 area code within Pierce County, you may call toll free at 800-346-0995.

Please have your library card number/username and PIN/password available, along with the barcodes of the items you wish to renew when you call. See sticker labeled Pierce County Library on back cover of book or case, or on first disk or tape.

Hours of Renew By Phone operation are: 24 hours.

Interlibrary Loan Renewals

Please note that you may renew Interlibrary Loan items, those borrowed for you from other library systems across the country, by contacting your library or e-mailing ill@piercecountylibrary.org. In your message, please include your library card number and the title of the book.

You may not renew these items with the automated renewal by phone service or with your online account. Read more about our Interlibrary Loan service.
