Create a Username

Create Your Own Username for your Pierce County Library Account

Save time requesting materials and renewing items you have checked out on your Pierce County Library account. Instead of typing in your 14-digit library card number, you may create your own username.

How to Create Your Username

1. Choose a name you can remember easily.

2. Go to piercecountylibrary.org and click on My Account at the top of the page.

3. Click on Create Username under the first box.

4. Follow the instructions, including entering the barcode number from the back of your library card and your Password/PIN, usually the last four digits of your phone number.

5. Submit and begin using your new username!

Tips for Creating your Username

Must begin with a letter, a-z or A-Z.
May contain letters, numbers and four special characters - _ @ .
May not include two special characters next to each other.
May not include spaces.

Create a Password

Log on to your account,
Click on Change Logon at the bottom of the page.
Click on Change Password.

You may also choose Change Username after clicking on Change Logon.
