The Caring Place – Transitional housing and services to homeless families with children. Also provides immigration assistance.
Helping Hand House - Provides homeless families with housing and services for up to two years in single-family homes and apartments in Bonney Lake, and Buckley, Eatonville, Orting, Puyallup, Sumner. To apply, call 253-848-6096, ext. 11.Lakewood Area Shelter Association – Housing for families in need in greater Pierce County.
Martin Luther King Housing Development Association - Provides emergency shelter for single men and women over 18. Also provides rental assistance to low income families and individuals.

Network Tacoma – Housing for homeless families with children.
New Phoebe House – Housing for women with substance abuse issues or those in recovery.

Shared Housing Services – Matches individuals willing to rent rooms with Pierce County residents in need.
TACID – Provides affordable, accessible housing, employment resources and other services for individuals and families with disabilities.
Tacoma Rescue Mission/Tyler Square Apartments – Transitional housing for families.
Veterans Independent Enterprises of Washington – Transitional housing program and job placement services for homeless veterans.
YWCA Pierce County – Provides emergency shelter for women and children fleeing domestic violence, as well as counseling, legal assistance, education, support groups and transitional housing for women re-entering the community.
