The Library offers a wide array of free events for children throughout the year, including story times, library clubs, book clubs, interactive presentations by special performers, many arts and crafts events, and so much more.

Calendar for Library Events - Find upcoming special events at your local library. You can search by location, age, and event type, such as "story times." The calendar will indicate if registration is required for the event.

Block Play allows children to explore fun science, math, and engineering challenges.
The KaBOOM Imagination Playground™ travels to multiple Pierce County Library locations as well as some community sponsored events. It is made up of lightweight, oversized, mobile foam blocks and is meant to encourage and empower balanced and active play for children while building gross motor skills.
